Our full terms and conditions, are printed on our contracts and we provide a full copy for you to read in our booking pack. What we have done here is to explain our main terms in plain English.
1.
We require a non-refundable booking fee of £200, which is deducted from your total bill. This secures that day for you and satisfies our Insurer's contract conditions. We only film one wedding on a day.
2. The balance of the costs should be paid in full by 3 weeks before the wedding. If this money is not received prior to the wedding we will not be under any obligation to perform any further work.
3. If we are unable to complete the engagement for any reason whatsoever we will do our best to find another reputable company to film your wedding through our business contacts and the IOV, but if no such replacement can be found then our total liability is limited to making a refund of all money paid under the agreement, less any out of pocket expenses reasonably incurred. The same will apply in the event of equipment loss or failure.
4. Whilst we will do our best to record all the significant parts of the ceremony and function, including any specific parts you have asked us to record, the contents of the recording shall be at our discretion and subject to conditions on the day. We can give no absolute undertaking to successfully record any particular event or part of the ceremony.
5. The master tapes remain our property as does the copyright of the footage. The copyright and these tapes, which are not playable on domestic equipment, can be bought on payment of a fee. Under copyright law, you are not permitted to make copies of the tapes or DVDs we supply without our permission, we can supply additional copies at our normal prices.
6. Should you cancel your wedding or wish to cancel our services, cancellation fees apply on a sliding scale, dependant on the amount of notice.
7. Prices are based on events taking place within a 30 mile radius of Milton Keynes, travel beyond that radius will be charged at 50p per mile.
8. Any requests for changes or additions to coverage must normally be submitted to us in writing, 3 weeks prior to the event.
9. Any complaints must be notified to us in writing within 28 days of receiving the completed video. |
